In addition to being very comfortable, the Giro Ionic+ pads have thermodynamic silver fibers woven in. This provides anti-microbial properties to help keep your helmet fresher, and longer. The replacement pads are also washable.
The pads are attached to your helmet with Velcro® or double-sided tape which was originally already in your helmet and is NOT included in the kit.
